In this session, we will get introduced to Metro style apps basics along with Visual Studio 11 beta express. And we will also learn how to create Metro style apps using C# and XAML. Right from the new Start screen to new UI layout and controls, we will take a quick glance at the amazing presentation capabilities of metro apps alongside few examples.
In this session we’re going to learn What is Metro App ? Difference between Metro/WinRT app and Metro Styled app ? Creating a Rate the Movie App using WinJS. In this will demo consuming ODATA from Netflix in Metro app, Explaining manifest file and resource access.
Shashank Saudagar
Shashank is an iGator (erstwhile Patni) employee since more than 4 years now. He served as a Subject matter expert for DOTNET Line of Technologies and contributed actively towards designing & developing certifications courses for .Net at various levels for Patni employees. He then worked as a Training Specialist and delivered dotnet based trainings for both fresh engineers and lateral crowd.
